Fumo Blu is hosting a Fundraiser for Tia, Friday the 4th June 2010.

Where: Fumo Blu Cocktail Lounge, 270 Rundle Street, Adelaide
When: Friday, 4th of June 2010, from 9pm onwards

Gold coin donation at the door and many other opportunities inside to lighten those pockets of shrapnel, just look for our donation boxes. Also a percentage of the night’s drink sales of selected cocktails will also be donated to Tia.

Come and join Tia International Aid with the screening of the brand new Alice in Wonderland film.

19-year-old Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror.

Starring Johnny Depp (that's right ladies!), as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska, as Alice. Rated PG.

When: Saturday March 6, Doors open 2:45pm, screening starts at 3:30pm.

'Around the World' Quiz Night!!

TIA is finally doing it...we're having our very own QUIZ NIGHT! It will be raising money to put towards our next and biggest project so far of replacing a water system at the orphanage Ciudadela Sedeges, to give the children access to clean, running water (as they don't have any running water right now and are constantly getting sick!)

It will be on Friday the 25th of September, at the Queens Arms Hotel, 88 Wright Street in the city (one street away from the Central Markets). Doors will open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

Another Way to Love

Another Way to Love exists to provide opportunities for people to personally and practically engage in changing the lives of others. On August 29 dozens of justice, aid and volunteer organisations (including Tia International Aid) will gather at a festival including live bands, an acoustic stage, fair trade markets, emerging art exhibition, opp shops, dance and more... all encouraging people of all ages to 'turn their opinions into action' through one or more agencies. Come along, volunteer and be inspired to transform our world!

Charity Gig: 'BABALAZA for a Cause!'

Tia International Aid in conjunction with Anna's Africa Trust are combining forces for one big Charity Gig!

When? 8pm Saturday June the 13th
Where? Jive - 181 Hindley Street
How much? $10 door charge
Why? Why not?! All proceeds will be going towards TIA (improving the health and wellbeing of orphans in Cochabamba, Bolivia) and Food & Trees for Africa (helping promote permaculture education in Primary Schools in rural South Africa)

Drinks at the Lion

Tia International Aid is joining with Projects Abroad in hosting Friday night drinks at the Lion. Come and join us in relaxing and enjoying a few well deserved drinks and FREE NIBBLES after a hard week at work, and kick off the weekend, whilst feeling good about the fact that you are supporting a good cause!

25% of the profit from sponsored beverages ($5 Coopers Beers and $5 Heartland Wines) sold on the night will be donated towards TIA and the money raised will be taken with Tessa on her trip to Bolivia on the 27th of June and put towards TIA's projects in the orphanages!
